While I was sleeping,
She snuck through
The office in my mind,
Pulling drawers out
And rummaging through
The papers I had stored
In the unlabeled folders
I wasn’t trying to hide
Until she found
Whatever it was
She’d been looking for
And left me unaware
Until the morning came.
