Another World
We want to escape,
All of us, to a world
Of our own design,
Without the pitfalls
Of modern society
And the chains of
Capitalism around us,
And what of that world
That we leave behind,
Filled with others who
Face the same struggles
And hidden dangers with
Every breath they take?
Should we just let them
Find their own world?
We can build a world
For all of us, where
Nobody can be judged
By who they love
Or how they look,
But it seems often
We’re too busy
Trying to find our
Own way out
To worry about
Our brothers
And sisters.
